About Us

We understand that it is a big decision whether to send your child to nursery or not. Spending time in a nursery environment can benefit young children in different ways such as:
  • Interacting with other children their age
  • Learning vital social skills
  • Forming friendships with their peers
  • Learning to take turns and share
  • Joining in with group games and activities
  • Making their own decisions
  • Having a sense of independence
  • The building of confidence
  • Understanding rules, boundaries and routines
Acquiring these life skills will give your child a greater sense of self-esteem and make their transition to school even more of a success.
We provide a stimulating nursery environment with exciting equipment and facilities that will allow children the opportunity to take part in new activities and further their life experience outside of the home.   This includes:
  • Home corner/role play area
  • Construction area
  • Carpeted area for reading, rhyme time and group activities
  • Maths area
  • Writing area
  • Messy play area
  • Garden for outdoor play
  • Sensory/multi-function room
  • Baby room (for under twos)
Our nursery recognises parents as the first and most important educators of their children. We work in partnership with parents to ensure each individual child’s needs are being met. From the very first day, parents will meet their child’s key person to discuss individual needs.
  • We value parents input and encourage a close relationship between home and nursery
  • Our nursery will provide resources and ideas to support interests and development at home
  • Our staff are readily available to parents for updates on a child’s progress and their daily activities
